Brian C. Courtney elected to the Board of Directors of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce

Shareholder Brian C. Courtney was elected to the Board of Directors of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce at the organization’s 228th Annual Meeting & Business Leadership Awards which took place on October 13th in New Haven.  The mission of GNHCC is to be an advocate for business, a valuable resource for its members, a venue for connections, and a promoter of economic growth that is shared and inclusive.  GNHCC is comprised of the 15 municipalities of Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Wallingford, West Haven, and Woodbridge, and marshals the physical, economic, and human resources of the South Central Connecticut region for the sole purpose of making Greater New Haven a favorable place to operate a business, a desirable place to work, and an attractive place to live.  Also in attendance at the event were UKS attorneys Jeffrey D. Bausch and Jonathan L. Canestri. 

 

Brian C. Courtney represents lenders and borrowers in all forms of real estate development and financing, including commercial lending, asset based lending, real estate and construction finance, equipment finance, bond transactions, and mezzanine finance, with a particular emphasis on affordable and multifamily housing. He counsels clients on structuring joint ventures for affordable housing projects, HUD-insured lending, and financing through government agencies such as the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority.
