Immediate opening for a legal secretary in the New Haven office of a well- established medium sized downtown Hartford law firm. This is a full time position in the office position with benefits. Strong computer and word processing skills necessary. Experience with supporting a litigation practice group a plus. 1-2 years law firm experience preferred, will consider training a candidate that has strong IT skills and a willingness to learn. Pay commensurate with experience.

Position: Paralegal
Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C seeks a talented Commercial Real Estate/Corporate Paralegal to join our well established commercial finance team in our Hartford office. Successful candidate must be a self-starter and proactive team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment. - In this role, the ideal candidate will:
• Review title commitments and title exception documents
• Review surveys and zoning matters
• Communicate with clients
• Prepare and reconcile closing adjustments and settlement statements
• Assist in solving issues that arise on files
• Prepare closing documents and organize the closing process
• Assist with matters relating to reviewing UCC Searches
• Preparation and UCC Filings - Competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong time managements skills being able to multitask and prioritize
• Work well in a team environment
• Proficient in MS Office - Experience:
• Commercial Real Estate/Corporate Paralegal (Required)
Position: Associate Attorney
