Richard S. Order made a presentation to a social justice organization in Southbury, Connecticut

On April 27, 2025, UKS Shareholder Richard S. Order made a presentation to Justice Southbury, a social justice organization in Southbury, Connecticut.  He explained the reworking of the United States Constitution as set forth in his recently published book, Reimagining a More Perfect Union: A Better Constitution for Modern America.

Two days later, he taught a class in Prof. Andrew Szegedy-Maszak's course at Wesleyan University entitled, "Democracy and Its Discontents," which traces democratic philosophies and institutions from ancient Athens through the present. He prompted student participation with questions about the elements of current and potential democracy in the U.S., including citizenship, voting, and representative government.

Attorney Order is a senior trial lawyer in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and handles litigation, arbitrations, and mediations in state and federal courts.  He is also a longstanding member of the American Arbitration Association’s national roster of arbitrators.
