2019 UConn Law School Annual Fall Intramural Negotiation Competition

Hartford, CT, September 23, 2019 – Attorney Evan S. Goldstein volunteered as a Judge for the UConn Law School Annual Fall Intramural Negotiation Competition 2019.  The UConn Law School students negotiated and mediated a fact pattern that involved a teacher’s union and school district attempting to negotiate a new employment contract, increased pay for teachers, health insurance benefits and support staff coverage for teachers.  As a strike loomed to be called by the union, both sides negotiated a resolution that met its client’s interests.  The Judges evaluated and scored each team and provided feedback about the teams negotiation strategies and planning.
