Valerie M. Ferdon
Valerie M. Ferdon is an associate in the firm's Hartford office. Ms. Ferdon concentrates her practice in the areas of professional liability, insurance coverage and defense litigation, serving as an advocate for legal and accounting professionals in both the state and federal courts. She also handles business disputes in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group.
In addition to regularly preparing for complex civil trials, Ms. Ferdon has experience sitting second chair at both bench and jury trials.
Ms. Ferdon joined UKS as a Summer Associate in 2014 and received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law. In law school, she was a Notes & Comments Editor for the Connecticut Law Review and was awarded the 2014 Hartford County Bar Association Scholarship. Ms. Ferdon earned her B.A. in political science, cum laude, from Providence College. While in college she was selected to participate in the Washington Semester Program at American University (D.C.) where she specialized in the study of American Government and interned at a national government consulting firm.
