Alisha Verdone is a shareholder of the firm and resident in the Hartford office. She practices in the areas of commercial finance, real estate leasing, creditors’ rights and real estate and regularly represents commercial lenders, developers, investors and owners of real estate.
Ms. Verdone represents commercial banks, finance companies and other debt and equity providers in all facets of commercial financings, including acquisition and construction financings, permanent mortgage financings, mezzanine financings, syndicated loans, participation arrangements, letters of credit in connection with credit enhancement for multi-family housing revenue bonds and in transactions involving pension funds, real estate separate accounts, and real estate investment trusts, workouts and other restructurings.
These transactions have involved such diverse property types as multi-family buildings, industrial/retail properties, hotels and other hospitality properties often in multiple states.
Ms. Verdone also has extensive experience in asset based lending, commercial finance and other forms of secured transactions. These transactions have involved revolving loans, term loans, letters of credit and other credit enhancement to various businesses, including manufacturers, distributors, telecommunication companies, equipment leasing companies, and healthcare industry companies.
Ms. Verdone also represents a wide range of clients involved in real estate including the acquisition, disposition and leasing of industrial, commercial, office, student housing, multi-family and mixed use properties.
