Cristina Salamone is a Principal Attorney in UKS’ New Haven and Hartford offices. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation and counseling business owners on contractual and employment issues.

Ms. Salamone’s commercial litigation practice involves representing business owners in complex contractual disputes including sales and purchase, service, construction, and partnership agreements. She has experience representing outdoor power manufacturing companies and appliance companies in various product liability claims and cases. Her partnership dispute practice involves representing business owners in dissolution cases. When a case is in litigation, she strives to develop cost-effective solutions, while zealously representing her clients.

She uses her litigation experience to provide business owners with day-to-day advice on contractual issues, employee issues, and Connecticut licensing requirements. She regularly advises employers in connection with workplace issues and disputes, including employee conduct, termination of employment, assumption of risk agreements, and restrictive covenants, such as non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. She has experience litigating and resolving employee claims and drafting employee policies and handbooks.

She has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating, A-V.
